The Tankan is what. There are many kinds of citrus fruits from Shikoku and Kyushu to Okinawa. What always is not clear anymore somehow. Even if it has not eaten, it is almost the case to have heard it. But this Tankan has not heard it.
Tankan is an orange of a Guangdong Province, China native natural mixed breed. In Japan, it is grown in the south from Kagoshima and it is said that it is made most mostly in Amami Oshima.

Appearance has a crack in the surface considerably. It is not so good if it has placed together with other beautiful fruit. Probably, I think that it is cultivation using agricultural chemicals only in a few. It is tone like a reddish mandarin orange. A form is round and resembles the orange. There is faint the scent of citrus fruits. When the skin is stripped off, the skin is thin than expected and an inner fruit is large.
It is eaten so that a mandarin orange may be eaten ordinarily. The taste is little touch of sweet taste and acidity not much. It is juicy and easy to eat. Although it is somewhat larger than a mandarin orange, it has eaten immediately. Seeds was in the two whole. Although appearance is different, it is touch also similar to DEKOPON.
