A spider crab is a big crab as it is peculiar to Japan. Shizuoka is Numazu Hrda's specialty by fish-catch No.1 of Japan (2006). Probably, there are also many people who ordinary Japanese have not eaten a spider crab and do not know. It is said that it will be set to 3m or more if a large thing extends its trip. It is a big crab truly.

There was a day's trip bus tour which goes to eat a spider crab. It went to eat to Heda over one day. The big plate prepared in the restaurant of the fishing port of Heda which arrived at the daytime time. There was one leg of a medium-sized spider crab on a plate. There was also one leg of a snow crab next to it. A tour name was not suited but it was on the simple plate. It ate reluctantly.
By the high-class crab, although I do not remember well, I think that it
was a decent and delicious crab. The round cylindrical leg of a design
with a mottled effect of red and white was characteristic. The snow crab
which ate after that was also delicious. I want to eat again.
