A "La France" is a kind of a pear, was discovered in France and
has got across to Meiji in Japan. Since between growing periods is long,
it takes time and effort. It seems that cultivation was stopped in mother
country France since it was weak to the influence of illness, a noxious
insect, or the weather.
As for what is sold at the store, it is common to think that we will be
best-season-for-eating nearness. But, a "La France" is not so.
It is kept with room temperature, and if the surroundings of an axis become
soft, the best season for eating will come. Then, it is delicious, if it
is cooling and eats. A "La France" does not ripen become a tree.
It is said that it will become creamy if about two week passes after harvest.

Nothing was known at first. It was bought, immediately, while it had been hard, it ate, and it was unsavory and was not eaten. Even if put into the refrigerator, it did not ripen easily but was troubled. Since how to eat these days was got to know, it is eaten with good appetite at last.
These "La France" which attained full maturity is very wonderful
food. If it is cooling and eats, it is smooth just like ice cream. It is
juicy and very delicious. Fine flesh has not been eaten until now. It is
such high-class fruit.
Those blue "La France" bought at the end of the year does not
ripen easily in the cold room of winter. I will put on warm sitting room
and will wait to ripen.
