A glimpse of these sweets is reminded of "Kamado Seamed Bun" of Kagawa. Appearance and a name are similar. There is no telling which was made previously.

It seems that it originates in the iron pot bath which Emperor Temmu used if the origin of "Kamaburo" is said simply.



Outsides are the sweets with which the smell also resembled "Hiyoko" of the Tokyo souvenir also in the surface of appearance. Inside is two kinds of steamed filled dumplings, black and reddish brown bean jam and white bean jam. When it takes in its hand, it is ponderously heavy unexpectedly. Although the skin is "Hiyoko" itself, bean jam has the delicacy which is close also to sweet bean paste. If white bean jam is eaten, the scent of a powerful yuzu citron will spread in a mouth. It is slightly dissatisfied that the flavor of white bean jam has disappeared to somewhere. Reddish brown bean jam is an ordinary azuki bean.

Too, I want tea like the time of eating sweet bean paste.
