Japanese Noted Foods  Jiro Persimmon
 Report

The "Jiro" persimmon is produced in Shizuoka and made from Shizuoka to Aichi. [ many ] A square form is the feature. Although a persimmon has many square things, seemingly, a five-cornered thing exists in the this "Jiro" persimmon rarely. "Pentagon = success" is a Japanese word play. It is connected with this, so success prayer of taking an examination appreciates. But it is said that only a few is found.

To be sure, it is square indeed. But unlike the persimmon of other square kinds, the surface is irregular. It is somewhat larger than a "Fuyu" persimmon. If it eats, there will be the Bali Bali sound. It is unexpectedly hard, and since sweetening persimmons is inadequate, near leather is somewhat astringent. It seems to be better to eat, after keeping a day to a slight degree. Small brown sesame is thinly contained in inside, and delicate sweetness is felt. There is no seed.

Mmm. Feeling good taste commonly.
