Japanese Noted Foods   Guarana-Cola
 Report

The "Koappu-Garana" is major drink in Hokkaido. When "Coca-Cola" was popular in Honshu, "Koappu-Garana" was popular in Hokkaido. It seems to originate in it that an advance to Hokkaido of "Coca-Cola" was late. That reminds me "Pepsi Cola" and "Dr. Pepper" went to where. In fact, the "Pepsi cola" and "Dr Pepper" are sold at Japan still now [ both ]. It is said that it is sold at China or Southeast Asia although Japan does not have "Mirinda".

The "Garana" is a plant which grows wild in the valley in the Amazon River in Central America, is used as the medicine of perpetual youth and longevity among the Indians of a spot, and is used as a nourishment tonic in present-day Japan.

It will sound "PUSHU" if the lid of the bottle of a "Cola" color is opened. It is the same as cola. A smell is such touch like "Dr Pepper" like cola. When it drinks, it is as frank a taste as unexpected. It is the touch which a scent peculiar to the cola of the thin taste has. It is moved by the similar smell recollections, then a smell like some medicine.

When it gets used to drink, it is the flavor in which the person who becomes infatuation is also. I think that it feels refreshed from "Cola".
