Japanese Noted Foods  Dekopon
 Report

Specialty "Dekopon" of the Kumamoto. It seems that "Dekopon" was named since the frame had come out with "Pon". Since it has just begun to be shipped to a market in Heisei 2, it is unfamiliar. It is expensive to it. The name which only 13 sugar contents or more and the thing of 1% or less of acidity (citrate) were allowed in a kind called "Shiranui" is "Dekopon".

In the feature, a thing without "Deko" also has the withered touch. After harvest, it stores, and after making it ripe, it is shipped. The skin is stripped off like a mandarin orange and the whole bag of fruits is eaten.

It is quite large, and when had in a hand, it is ponderously heavier than a mandarin orange. The thing without a smell will be because time passes after gathering a harvest. Since the skin was Siwa Siwa for a while, it expected that space was probably located in inside, but when the skin was stripped, the skin was thinner than appearance and fruits were choked up.

When one is eaten, it is juicy and delicious. This differs from the taste of a mandarin orange. Although expression is difficult, it is rather a taste near a Soto domestic orange. There is no seed. This is high if you buy it, but it is glad when it gives.
