It is a large production center of "The 20th century pear", and Tottori is second to none. A kind called "Kosui pear" and "Hosui pear" holds 65% of the national pear recently, and "The 20th century pear" is around 14%, though.

The most of this "The 20th century pear" are shipped by "Keihanshin" and "Chugoku" / "Shikoku" district, and, in the other areas, it seems to be shipped just a little. Because skin is vulnerable to insects causing damage to crops thinly, it is the pear which it can write two times of bags, and can be brought up carefully.



I ate a yellow pear, without stripping the skin. Then, a fresh pear spreads in a mouth. The skin is delicious even if I do not bark it softly. Rather there is a unique sweet fragrance, and the person who does not bark it thinks that I am delicious. This fragrance that you should have said how. When it says by dogmatic expression, it is the fragrance that resembled an apple.
